About A Framework for Wise Education®
“Through my own examination of the chakra system and forty years of working with students and clients of all ages, I have observed a structure that can help us simplify our understanding of the course of human development —and aid us in creating an educational strategy that supports and endorses the maturation of the whole child.”
— Author Ellen Tadd
The Framework methodology stems from Ellen Tadd’s observations of the human energy, or chakra system, and its role in healthy human development. The chakras are energetic centers that deal with different aspects of our nature, including our capacity for inspiration, wisdom, caring, and discipline. They are located in every person's energy field and correlate with places in the body from the top of the head to the base of the spine. When the chakras function well, we do well! When the become dominant or diminished, challenges ensue.
The premise of Tadd’s approach is simple but profound: honing well-function across the chakra system yields optimal learning and well-being for all individuals.
Children around the world are in crisis. If the new generation is to navigate the rough waters of their future effectively, we must change the education landscape, arming them with wisdom and tools for whole living.
