About Creative Lives

Creative Lives® is a nonprofit educational organization that equips educators, parents, and communities to intentionally support children's holistic development.

Grounded in A Framework for Wise Education®—educator Ellen Tadd's pioneering approach to teaching and parenting—and informed by more than four decades of educational practice by founder Maureen Burford, our work translates Tadd’s practical Framework for fostering human potential into everyday educational practice.

Through professional learning, parent education, school partnerships, and community collaborations, Creative Lives helps adults and communities intentionally support children's physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and character development.

The promise of a healthier, more peaceful world begins lies in the hands of our youth. Their well-being concerns us all.
