Professional Development

"Your work and presentation resonated with me in a profound way. Every keynote at the conference was outstanding, but if I could have given more than five stars to your workshop, I would have. I am already thinking of ways to incorporate what I learned into my work with students next year."
— Judy L., SEL Interventionist

Our mission with professional development is twofold: supporting the wisdom and well-being of educators while empowering young people with greater agency to learn and thrive.

Programs may be tailored for early childhood educators, K–12 teachers, counselors, administrators, higher education faculty, parent groups, and interdisciplinary teams.

Featured Keynotes & Workshops:

Any of the following topics may be offered as an engaging keynote, conference session, interactive workshop, or professional development experience ranging from 90-minute presentations to full-day trainings. Every program is designed to leave participants with practical strategies they can apply immediately.

  • The Hidden Infrastructure of Learning
How seven core areas of development shape learning, behavior, relationships, and well-being.

  • The Epidemic of Disconnection
Fostering inspiration, belonging, and purpose in today's schools.

  • Building Compassionate, Connected Learning Communities
Practical and playful strategies for strengthening understanding, caring, and positive relationships throughout the school community.

  • Inspiring Student Engagement
Transforming distraction, disengagement, and discouragement into curiosity, motivation, and joyful learning.

  • The Wise View
The mechanics of focus, concentration, and wise decision-making.

  • The Self-Esteem Factor
Helping children develop lasting confidence, curiosity, and resilience.

  • Restorative Practices for Learning Communities

Because every learning community is unique, professional learning experiences may be designed to strengthen particular areas of development—including inspiration, focus, confidence, emotional well-being, caring, healthy relationships, and discipline—or to address the specific goals of your school or organization.

Whole-Team Certification Training

"This program doesn't just change educators—it transforms teams."
— Nikki D., Early Education Director

Helping young people thrive begins with supporting the adults who teach and guide them. Creative Lives' Cohort Training Program brings teams of educators together to develop a shared understanding of A Framework for Wise Education®, along with a common language and practical tools for supporting children, one another, and themselves.

Unlike a traditional workshop, cohort participants learn together over time, applying the Framework in both their own lives and their work with students. As educators deepen their understanding of the seven developmental areas within the Framework, they become better equipped to nurture these same qualities in the young people they serve.

Schools and organizations consistently report stronger collaboration, deeper relationships among staff, renewed enthusiasm for teaching, and greater confidence in supporting children as whole human beings.

2025 Outcomes

  • 81% of participants reported being consistently joyful in their work, up from 30% before training.

  • 93% said they are significantly better able to help young people develop focus, clarity, and wise decision-making.

  • Participants consistently reported stronger collaboration, greater confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose in their work. Click to View the 2025 Outcomes Report.

Consulting & Coaching

Sometimes the most valuable place to begin is with a conversation.

Creative Lives offers consultation for schools, early childhood programs, nonprofits, and educational organizations seeking guidance around professional learning, implementation, school culture, or specific challenges affecting students, educators, or families.

We can also provide individual coaching for educators and administrators.

Whether you're exploring an idea, designing a professional learning plan, or looking for individual support, we'll help you determine the approach that best fits your goals.
